Sebastian Spiteri. Sebastian has worked at Deutsche Bank in London and at a Berlin-based venture capital firm where he covered the climate technology sector. He has also worked with the Climate Compatible Growth programme funded by the UK’s Foreign Development and Commonwealth Office to determine the financial feasibility of renewable power trade between India and GCC countries. Sebastian has gained experience working cross-functionally and engaging with stakeholders in finance, technology, and academia. He is passionate about emerging technologies and the use of data and technology to achieve sustainable growth.
Sebastian holds an MSc in Economics and Politics in Energy and the Environment from University College London and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Warwick. His academic research has explored the use of market-based measures to reduce emissions in the shipping industry and property rights as a determining factor to how land and natural resources are used and managed.
